Hal C. Lewis, Ph.D.

Hal Lewis is a retired Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics, University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. Dr. Lewis served as Training Director of the University of Colorado Health Science Center’s Division of Clinical Psychology for five years and as the Director of Psychology for Colorado’s University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities for over 20 years. Dr. Lewis has authored seven federally funded interdisciplinary training grants in areas such as pediatric brain injury, medically fragile infants and toddlers, interdisciplinary early intervention, and health services for underserved populations. Dr. Lewis has had extensive clinical, research, and program development experience in developmental disabilities and developmental psychopathology. He is Dan Lewis’ father.
